Frustrated

I really need to start blogging again. I just get really lazy at times. So today I actually have something to write about. On Saturday I get a phone call from my mom and she is really upset. Apparently the person that is buried in front of my dad had their headstone come in and there is ONE INCH in between their stone and my dad's. Just wonderful. Let me mind you my dad is cremated and has a flat stone and the person in front of him has a regular plot and a big headstone. So of course my mom talks to the caretaker and priest. They said that they are willing to move my dad to a different area for free. But that still isn't the point. My mom met with the priest today and he basically told her that everything is up to the church board. Which I think is all BS! Someone should have realized when they were putting up the new stone that something is wrong here and these two plots are very close to each other. So I went home Monday for Memorial Day to pay respect to my dad and this is what I get to see instead. So I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the idiots that basically ruined my day.

Bad hair day

So I decided I wanted a hair cut bc I am bored with my hair. Trade Secret was offering free 7 foil highlights with any hair cut. So I thought why not. My highlights need a touch up anyways. Well the lady cut my hair way too short. I can't even put it in a ponytail and I told her to make sure I could still put it in a pony tail. Second of all my highlights came out orange/bronze/blonde instead. EXPECT for the sections in the front that came out like this:

I am not very happy. I didn't notice this until this afternoon. When I was getting my hair done Georgia was getting cranky and the end was kind of rushed. But that was during the time when she was cutting my hair way too short. She got a little scissor happy. So tomorrow I am going to get it corrected for FREE and I will not be going back there.

Do you buy your makeup at a discount/drugstore or some type of specialty makeup store?

I am a big makeup person so I am usually always willing to the spend the money on it! Typically I go to Macy's (Clinque and Benefit) or MAC. The only think I can't spend money on is Mascara. I used to spend between $12-25 on it but now I just stick to whatever I can find at Target that is under $6. If I see a fun eyeshadow at Target I will buy it but they usually don't last that long.

I am so happy today is Wednesday! That means only 1 more day of class for the week and then it is off to owatonna for the weekend!

Getting to know me

As some of you know I am a Army Brat and proud of it! My parents were both Army! They met, fell and love and were married within a year. They decided to wait 7 years before they had me and then another 5 before my brother war born. My dad retired after 20 years. For some reason I attract Military! My best friend Stephanie has been in the Army for the past 6 years and I couldn't be more proud of her! She is my hero! I am perfectly ok with Luke joining the Marines if he wants. So of course I have been researching different things when it comes to the military. So within my researching I find this picture and just instant crying. All she wanted was to sleep with her husband one last time. The Marine behind her stayed all night with her too just watching over.

I have decided to start a blog. I used to have one but them stopped writing 2 years ago. So here it goes!
